HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR GUIDED BASS FISHING ADVENTURE
Phoenix Fishing Guides and your professional guide WILL provide:

Rods & Reels are provided by your guide. We use top of the line bait casting and spinning rods and reels, depending on conditions and abilities. Of course, you are welcome to bring your favorite.

Tackle, artificial baits and lures.

Bottled drinking water.

On full day trips, a lunch will be provided.
Items you will be responsible for:

Clothing based on conditions (layers), rain jacket. Our mornings may be cool but by mid-day it usually warms up nicely.

Sunscreen and sun hat – any ball cap that will keep the sun out of your eyes.

Glasses – A MUST FOR EYE PROTECTION. We strongly recommend polarized lenses to reduce glare.

Any required medications/personal items you will need.

Fishing License- you can purchase at most sporting goods stores, or online at www.azgfd.com

Tonto National Forest parking pass- you can purchase at the entrance to the forest/ ramp area or at selected local convenient stores.
Seasonal Weather Information
Phoenix, Arizona enjoys sunny, dry weather year-round. It's the temperature that varies the most. Winters are pleasantly mild, spring and fall are warm, while daytime highs of over 100-degree F (above 38 °C) are the norm throughout summers.
Safety
Most fishing is done on the front or back deck of a full-rigged bass boat. Please let us know if you need the use of a pedestal seat for comfort during the trip. Start drinking lots of water and don’t forget your hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
